Relive Your Prom, 1980s Style

It's time to bring out the AquaNet and the pastel tux, and dance to the Psychedelic Furs. Yes, it's '80s Prom Party this Friday and Saturday.

The proms take place in the gymnasium (of course!) of Ravenswood UCC at 2050 West Pensacola. Each prom runs between 8pm and 11pm.

Why are we promoting an out-of-Uptown event? Because part of the proceeds go to support programming at Chase Park.

According to the web page, the night will feature "all you can drink beer, wine and Pretty in Pink punch, Garcia's taco bar, 80's music, prom photos and costume contest." More information and online ticketing is here.
