A Little Off The Top


Demolition of the buildings on the former Maryville site is happening quickly now, no doubt assisted by the mild winter weather. Reader P.F. sent in the above photo of what's going on with the east (oval) building as of Wednesday. "They started demolishing, from the roof down, using a smaller machine that breaks the concrete in front of it instead of the wrecking ball."

 Meanwhile, over at the west (more angular) building, demo is well underway:
