Facade Repairs Underway On "Indian Chief" Building at 4629 N. Broadway

Exterior of 4629 N. Broadway showing two sections of terra cotta that has been removed

More proof that the 4600 block of Broadway will be virtually unrecognizable in the near future.

We've been following building permits that have been issued for this building showing $25,000 in work slated for the space. That must have done the trick.

According to Chicago Cityscape:

More details to follow as they become available. Interesting to note that the architect listed, Artur Kaczmarek, is with "Bugaj Architects" who are also the architecture firm listed on the American Indian Center apartment conversion west of Ashland on Wilson.
