Concert, Night Market, & Get Out The Vote Tonight In Buttercup Park

Tonight at Buttercup Park, 4901 North Sheridan, there will be a "Get Out The Vote" concert and Night Market. It will run between 5pm and 10pm.

Sponsored by #IAmAsianAmericanMovement, it is free to the public. Of course there will be voter registration available to all.  The organization says, "Asian Americans are the fastest-growing minority group in the U.S. - yet half of all Asian Americans do not vote, including just 37% of Asian Americans aged 18 to 34. It’s one of the lowest voter participation rates of any racial or ethnic community. The #I Am Asian American Movement (#IAAA) is a voter registration campaign. We want to show that our diversity is our strength. Our voices matter, our votes count!"
