Avon Walkers Coming Through Uptown Sunday Morning

The Avon 39 Walkers, who are raising money and awareness to fight breast cancer, will be coming through Uptown Sunday morning on their way from Horner Park to the closing ceremony at the Museum Campus. Please use extra caution in the area if you are on wheels.

They could use your support and encouragement as they make their way through our community. The "cheering stations" are:

• McCutcheon School (northeast corner of Sheridan Road and Ainslie). Best viewing times are 8:30am-10am.
• Montrose Harbor (the grassy area at the southwest corner of Montrose and the Lakefront Path). Best viewing times are 8:45am-10am.
