Uptown Saturday Nights Begin with Sold-Out Concert and Free Walking Tours

The second Saturday of each month for the rest of the year is an "Uptown Saturday Night." There's a free concert tomorrow at the Preston Bradley Center featuring JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound.

Uptown United says, "We have hit our 1200 guest capacity and expect a sizeable waitlist. If you are no longer able to attend this event, please log in to your Eventbrite account, click “My Tickets”, and select “Cancel Order” so that we can get an accurate count and free up seats that you do not plan on using. Thanks for your cooperation!

Please note that there is limited free parking for this event. We encourage all attendees to take public transportation (Lawrence Red Line and bus routes #36, #81, #146, and #151).

Doors and bar will open at 7:00 p.m. and the concert will begin at 8:00 p.m. Seating is first-come, first-served and on multi-levels. Please plan accordingly."

In addition to the concert, free walking tours begin Saturday afternoon:

"These hour-long free walking tours of the Uptown Entertainment District are led by a knowledgeable local docent from Choose Chicago’s Greeter Program.

Saturday, April 9
Tours leave at 2pm,  3pm, and  4pm
Meet at Crew Bar + Grill  (4804 N. Broadway)"
