Spray up your hair real big, put on your lace fingerless gloves, and wear your best pastel Miami Vice t-shirt with a linen jacket. Yes, it's time again for Vintage Garage on Sunday, and they're bringing back 1985, when Chicago was ground zero for Ferris Bueller (filmed here in June) and the Super Bowl Shuffle.
Vintage Garage always has all the vintage you can handle in all categories with 100 vendors carrying antiques and vintage of all kinds. On August 16th, you’ll see great outfits (shoulder pads) and hear great 80s music from John Arnsdorff of Audio Archeology, who'll be spinning vinyl hits like Crazy For You, Dress You Up, Sussudio, Rhythm Of The Night, and You Give Good Love.
Vintage Garage Chicago takes place at 5051 North Broadway on the third Sunday of the month from April through October, 10am to 5pm. The last three dates of the 2015 season are August 16th, September 20th and October 18th. For more information, including a list of this month's vendors, click here.
