"After voting in a new board and being blessed with a number of new volunteers to help us, we're ready to launch our Fall School Supply Drive! Along with Alderman James Cappleman's office, we are now collecting school supplies for students attending 46th Ward schools through Labor Day (school starts September 8).
We're also challenging book clubs, block clubs, churches, neighbors, friends, co-workers, and other groups to conduct mini-drives on our behalf as a way to inspire a little charitable competition.
Details on drop-off sites, supplies needed, and Paypal donations are below. Information on our Amazon Wish List is also available for those who want to contribute with just a few clicks.
Let's make this the best school supply drive yet! The 46th Ward schools have over 3,000 students who come from low-income families. Every pencil counts!

You can also donate to Friends of the 46th Ward via Paypal and we will use your donation to purchase school supplies.
