He's back!
All Uptown's creatures are returning to the great outdoors. First Lionel made it back after a winter hiatus, and now the Hull House gorilla is where he belongs, in his own fenced-off niche, no less, in front of 4520 North Beacon. Thanks to reader KF for noticing and taking his photo.
Somewhere, the late John Kearney, his creator and a long-time Uptown resident, is smiling. And so are the gorilla's many fans.
