Rique's Cocina Mexicana has some devoted and inquisitive fans. We keep getting inquiries about when it will be opening. According to the Facebook page, it'll be sometime this winter, hopefully sooner than later. The delay is for usual reason -- getting the okay from the city. We went by the other day and the scrims have been taken down from the windows, and you can see all the tables set up, so temptingly.... just waiting for the doors to open to the public. The lady's picture on the door (at 5004 N Sheridan) asks for your patience.
