Ribfest takes place on the 4700 block of Broadway beginning tomorrow morning and lasts until Sunday night. More about that soon. But for now, info about parking restrictions, which began at 10pm Thursday night.
From the Chamber: "To accommodate Windy City Ribfest, some parking restrictions will be in place.
- No Parking Broadway from Lawrence to Wilson 10pm Thursday, July 3 to 4am Monday, July 7. All vehicles left on the street after Thursday at 10pm will be ticketed and towed by the City of Chicago.
- Patrons of businesses between Wilson and Clifton will be allowed to park on Broadway during business hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Broadway will have a soft closure stating "Local Traffic Only" in this area. Vehicles will be allowed to enter at Wilson and will be directed to exit through Clifton.
- Broadway from Clifton to Lawrence will have a full closure.
Thank you for accommodating the festival. Questions can be directed to Special Events Management at 773-868-3010. If a vehicle has been towed, please contact the City of Chicago at 311."

But according to the flyers put out around the surrounding areas (see above), the parking restrictions will be a little more extensive than above, reflecting
the same restrictions as the past couple years:
- Broadway between Lawrence and Wilson
- Clifton between Broadway and Lawrence (east of Bridgeview Bank)
- Leland between Winthrop and Racine
- Racine between Broadway and Leland
Best to be on the safe side and avoid the streets highlighted in red.
