Some interesting statistics from the County Clerk about the first week of issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples.  258 same-sex couples applied for marriage licenses between February 21st and 28th (compared to 653 male/female couples). According to Windy City Times:

• More than half — 150 — of the couples are Chicago residents. 
• Popular Chicago zip codes include 14 from 60657 (Lakeview and East Lakeview); 13 from 60640 (includes Andersonville and Uptown); 11 from 60613 (includes north and west Lakeview, Graceland areas), nine from 60660 (Edgewater), and seven each from 60625 (includes Lincoln Square and Albany Park) and 60626 (includes Rogers Park, West Rogers Park).
