Someone found out the answer.
A reader writes to say: "Was just at the Subway on Broadway by Target. An employee who works at the Wilson location is working there today. She stated 'The Wilson location is undergoing a re-model for a fresh and contemporary new look....should be done in about 4 weeks.' (No change in ownership.) I have no idea why they didn't post a sign that says 'Come back soon' or something. Weird. But at least it's not going to be another empty storefront."
