There will be a public safety meeting regarding the 20th and 24th Districts tomorrow night, sponsored by Ald. Osterman. The Commanders for each district will be there, and the Weiss Plaza shooting Monday took place in the 20th District. If you have questions or concerns, please plan to attend.

Please join me for a Public Safety community meeting tomorrow Tuesday, June 11 at the Broadway Armory (5917 N. Broadway) starting at 7:00pm.
New commanders have been appointed in both the 20th and 24th Police districts in the last 6 months. 20th District Commander James Jones and 24th District Commander Tom Waldera will discuss recent and ongoing safety initiatives in their districts and will allow time for community members to ask questions. I will join the Commanders in addressing specific safety plans for this summer in the 48th ward.
