Final Community Meetings Last Night for Stewart and Stockton

The second Stewart School community meeting of the week, last night at Amundsen High School, is pictured above.  This photo was taken at approximately 5:05 and the reporters nearly outnumbered the community members.

The turnout was larger for the Stockton/Courtenay community meeting at 7:30pm.  Parents of Courtenay students were unhappy to hear from CPS's chief area officer that the name of the new blended school may not remain Courtenay because the LSC may vote to change it.

The final community meeting, for Trumbull School, will be held tonight at 5pm at Amundsen.
