Enjoy the first decent weather of the year by taking in a couple art gallery openings on Foster this evening:

Girl With Green Boots

• SHEart, located at 1519 W Foster, presents the work of Marcos Raya, between 7pm-10pm.  This show, entitled Women in Collage, features multimedia works by Mr. Raya, also known as "The Outlaw of Pilsen."  Some of his work is on permanent display at The National Museum of Mexican Art, and he will be on hand with copies of his most recent book available for sale and for autographs.
• Las Manos Gallery, located at 1515 W Foster, presents the opening of its annual photography show, featuring the work of Michael McGuire, Mark Pease, Paul Clark, Juan Fernandez, Gwynne Johnson, Patrick Manning, Emily Franklin (above) and Jim Van Bibber.  Tonight's opening runs from 7pm-10pm and the show itself runs through June 2nd.
