A Sweep Is As Lucky As Lucky Can Be

The good news is, as of April 1st, we don't have to worry about parking on snow routes and being towed.  The bad news is, as of April 1st, we have to worry about parking on the wrong side of the street on street cleaning days and being ticketed.

The first day Uptown will have street cleaning is April 8th, and it all depends on what zone you park in.  Keep an eye on the permanent metal signs.  Usually Streets and San will put out temporary signs giving a day or two notice, but even if they don't, you're still responsible for moving your car based on the metal signs.

SweepAround.us, the free email system that sends notices of street cleaning days, isn't up and running for the 2013 season yet, but hopes to be within a week.  You can check them out here and register with them for notifications.  In the interim, you can check out the City website for maps and dates for street cleaning.
