Long-Time Empty Storefront Gets Filled

It may not be sexy or exciting, but the storefront right next to Mary's Unisex Hair Salon on Clark near Lawrence looks like it's finally getting a tenant.

This place has been empty as long as we can remember, at least five years, and maybe as long as a decade?

We can't think of another convenience store in the immediate surrounding area, so we hope it does well.  Its existence is testament to the new residences being created along Clark between Leland and Ainslie.

One less empty storefront.  One more contributor to Uptown's tax base.  A service provided to neighbors.  A chance for a small business owner to be his own boss.  Best of luck to Slam Dunk Mini Food Mart.
