The spring shopping season will kick off with a bike ride on April 21st, and if you're dressed in vintage head-to-toe, you'll get free admission to the shopping garage at 5051 N Broadway.
Alderman Harry Osterman and event promoters expect hundreds of bicyclists dressed in vintage to descend on the neighborhood that day. “A bike ride is the best way to celebrate the arrival of spring,” says Melissa Sands of Vintage Promotions, LLC, producer of the show. “And wearing vintage for the ride is a great way to launch the season of fun and finds in the Vintage Garage.”
Ample bike parking will be available. Participants can also have their photo taken with their bike by the Vintage Garage Chicago photographer and be eligible to win a $50 gift certificate to spend in the garage. Vintage bicycles and accessories will also be on display and for sale at the event.

Vintage Garage Chicago will be indoors February 16 and 17 for a special run of the Winter Garage at the corner of Granville and Broadway. The hours are 11-6 both days.
Wondering if Vintage Bazaar will be returning to the Aragon? Right now, there are no plans for it, but the promoter is keeping her options open. Right now the Vintage Bazaar is scheduled for two events in Chicago (one at DANK Haus in Lincoln Square on February 15-16), and two more bazaars in Austin, Texas. Stay tuned.
