The good people at the
designslinger blog today take a look at the
magnificent, crumbling Agudas Achim Synagogue, located at 5029 N Kenmore. There are some gorgeous photos (as usual) and a brief history of the congregation that help to explain how it went from the most expensive synagogue ever built in Chicago to locked and "for sale" in 2012.
