Stranger Danger

Pretty scary stuff. Just posted to UU's Facebook page:

"I work at St. Thomas of Canterbury school on Lawrence and Kenmore. This afternoon a couple of our students were approached by 2 African American men in a black Nissan van at the Lawrence bus stop between Kenmore and Winthrop.

Thankfully the girls were not harmed. One of their grandmothers just happened to be in the area and threatened to call the police. The man took his license plate off and quickly drove away. The police generated a report at the school.

If you have kids in the area who take the CTA, please tell them to be aware of their surroundings and the people around them. This incident happened in broad daylight right after school. "
