A special "shooting stars" event will occur this weekend at Montrose Beach. The Illinois Science Council is partnering with the Chicago Park District to allow residents extended access at two beaches this weekend on Saturday and Sunday to look for shooting stars during the Perseid Meteor shower.

Did anyone go Saturday, and if so, see any shooting stars? thinking about going Sunday night.
