from the Uptown Chicago Commission: Please join your neighbors for an hour of Positive Loitering this evening from 7-8 pm, at the southwest corner of Lawrence and Sheridan. Bring a friend, bring a neighbor, bring your dog! The event is being sponsored by the Uptown Chicago Commission and all are welcome to attend. As always, the Police are aware of our efforts and encourage our efforts to take back our streets for law-abiding citizens.

Thanks to everyone at tonight's Positive Loitering who took the time to chat with my Couchsurfing guest. She was bowled over with the enthusiastic response she received from the people who were willing to chat with her, especially on the topic of community activism.
