National Night Out Is Tonight

A reminder that this is National Night Out Against Violence and both police districts are holding events in Uptown. 
  • The 20th District is holding a 5K race at 6:30, beginning at Margate Park. There will be Yoga and Tai Chi in Buttercup Playlot beginning at 6pm, followed by a cookout at the McCutcheon School next door.  At dusk, there will be a movie in the park, UP, presented by Ald. Osterman. 
  • The19th District is holding a picnic and anti-crime rally at Sunnyside Mall (Magnolia and Sunnyside).  It all starts at 6pm.

Please join your neighbors and people all over the country in observing "America's Night Out Against Crime."
