Graffiti Removal Days Coming Soon To 46th Ward

From Ald. Cappleman's latest newsletter:

"In the coming weeks, the 46th Ward office will begin announcing our first ever Graffiti Removal Days! These days will look to bring together residents from across the ward to stamp out graffiti using a special kit developed by removal experts. These graffiti kits are green, very safe to work with, fast acting, non-toxic, and can completely remove most tags within seconds without impacting the underlying surface.  This leaves only the stubborn tagging on porous materials such as limestone and brick for professional removal. Obviously, the more volunteers that sign up, the more graffiti will be removed, making Uptown a better and cleaner place to live.

With time, these Graffiti Action days will make a significant and tangible impact on the appearance of Uptown's commercial corridor and neighborhoods.  This event is meant to empower anyone who dislikes graffiti and would like to help take our streets back.  Please contact your local block club so that we may gauge interest and have an idea of how many kits to purchase."

This only works if residents volunteer to do it, so please contact your block club or Ald. Cappleman's office (info@james46.org) if you're interested in helping out.

  3. Well, US, they always have grown men sitting on them so I'd need some assistance with that.
