The Ultimate Bad Sport

It's the best of both worlds:  Chicago gang thuggery meets soccer hooliganism!  Bringing bad behavior to Uptown from Albany Park:
According to the Sun-Times, "A gang member from the Northwest Side pointed a loaded gun at players during a soccer game where children were present Sunday morning near Montrose Harbor. Police responded to a report of a man with a gun about 7 a.m. to a park near the intersection of West Montrose Drive and North Lake Shore Drive. [...] Jaime Gutierrez, 20, of the 3600 block of West Leland Avenue, was charged felony counts of unlawful use of a firearm with possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number."
We can't imagine why a gangbanger would want an untraceable gun!  Mr. Gutierrez, when you have the privilege of walking free again, please stay out of Uptown and away from our kids.  I'm sure you can find a soccer match closer to home, and we've got our own issues here without importing them from other communities.

  1. And here I thought being an "early riser" that I was out and had all my errands run before the gang-bangers even got out of bed. I guess it was still Saturday night for them!
