The Buddhist Temple of Chicago (1151 W. Leland) invites you to our free dance classes for Bon Odori, the Japanese festival of joyous remembrance of lost loved ones through dance. We will learn centuries-old folk dances along with some modern circle dances. There will be five classes starting Monday, July 30 and continuing August 1, 3, 6 and 8 from 7:30pm (OK to join any class).

The performance of Bon Odori is on Saturday, August 11 at 7:30pm – free and open to the public. No prior dance experience is required! All races, ethnicities, genders and religions are welcome.

Dress is casual, traditional Japanese, or whatever is comfortable for you. Visit our website at www.budtempchi.org or contact us through our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/budtempchi for more information.
