The parade was to restrained. All I kept hearing was MOVE BACK... The parade view would have been better if I had a balcony. MONTROSE? That was a discrace. It was too much to talk about I mean way too much. To sum it up? I felt like I was at a flea market, it was classless.
Granted the parade has become a bit more tame/commercial over the years, I think it is a great day for Uptown. We got good positive coverage (and tv footage). My mom and two nieces showed up at 11:45 and got a great shaded spot. If this is the new route,there needs to be an Uptown Kicks Ass Float!
Nice sign. It looks like things really are up for UPTOWN and the UPTOWN THEATRE.

According to Uptown United, the banners will be reused. Can't wait for Uptown to reflect what's on them.
