Buddhist Temple Invites You To Its Summer Festival

If you're looking for something a little less crowded than the Pride Parade this Sunday....

"The Buddhist Temple of Chicago is having its Summer Festival on Sunday, June 24th from 11am to 5pm.  Open to the public.  Japanese food items and crafts are available for purchase, but all the demonstrations and performances are free to enjoy.

Presentations include: martial arts, traditional and modern music, hands-on workshops in origami (paper folding) and wood-carving, and 15-minute Buddhism-in-a-nutshell talks.

Located at 1151 W. Leland (just west of Broadway, between Wilson and Lawrence). See our website for directions and more information:  www.budtempchi.org"
