Last Chance For Maryville Opinions

Whenever we post about Maryville and the future of the site, the comments come in fast and furious.  So now it goes a step further.

Posting your visions and ideas here may be satisfying, but if you want to be taken seriously, you need to tell the alderman's office about it, too.  'Cause here's the thing: Telling the decision makers about your ideas doesn't guarantee they'll turn into reality, but not telling the right people about them guarantees they'll never see the light of day.

If you missed the public charrettes on Tuesday, you can still take a look at the handouts and submit your comments.

"Approval of a new development is among the most important decisions a community will make. While growth is imperative for the economic health and vitality of a city, a new development at the Maryville site will impact the neighborhood for decades to come. [...]  If you have not already contributed your comments, you still have an opportunity make your voice heard!  Do you agree with these suggestions and assumptions? Disagree? Have another idea? Please email additional comments to abby@james46.org by Monday, May 14."
