Goose On The Loose

Awwww.  A reader sent in this photo and says:  "Yesterday, two police officers escorted a goose and six goslings across Marine Drive from Montrose.  Apparently, they had wandered into the neighborhood. Happily, they made it back to the lakefront."

    Its like that great children's story, Make Way for Ducklings. Maybe its time for an Uptown sequel!

    I saw those quacklings as far west as Graceland Cemetery the other day. They were on the north side of the cemetery near Malden.

    My dogs, beezle and bub, wanted to "play" with them.
