February 21 Is Last Day To Register To Vote In Primary

Oy!  It seems like we spent half of 2011 posting this exact thing, but there's an election coming up and for many readers, this is valuable information if you'd like to vote in the March primary.  This is what the Board of Elections website says:

"February 21, 2012 is the deadline to register to vote in the Primary Election.  Chicago voters may register for the first time - or update their records if they have moved or changed their names since they registered:

• by submitting this mail-in form. Use this form to: register for the first time; update your address; or update your name.
• in person at 69 W. Washington St., Sixth Floor.
• at any Secretary of State's office where driver's licenses and state IDs are issued.
• through an active deputy registrar affiliated with a local organization, such as a political party, ward organization or other state-certified body."
