La Ciudad Is Today's Reader "Real Deal"

Got plans on January 23rd?  The Reader is running a "Real Deal" at La Ciudad (4515 N Sheridan):  a five course meal for half price.  Pay just $35 for a $70 value.  "Experience an exclusive, upscale underground dining experience at La Ciudad with acclaimed chef Hugo de la Rosa on January 23, 2012 at 7 PM… for half the price! This exclusive deal is limited to 40 patrons."

    I visited La Ciudad last summer for the first time. I didn't expect much from a place situated in a strip mall on Clarendon, but the food was delicious! The staff was very attentive. It was hands down one of the nicest restaurant experiences I've had in Chicago.
