¡Hola, Señor Mariachi!

A couple years ago, Rique's Mexican Restaurant on Sheridan near Argyle became Roli's.  We noticed a few weeks ago that it's now "Señor Mariachi."  We're curious to know if the changes in name mean changes to the menu.  Anyone been there to give a review?

  1. Yes! The food has improved greatly over the two different places calling themselves Roli's/Rolli's. The employees are very friendly and always willing to accommodate special requests. For example, they have breakfast items, but no breakfast burritos on the menu, and they're always glad to do one up for me. The tortas, burritos, and nachos are delicious and generously portioned. That's all I've tried so far. Good homemade salsa as well.

On a popularity note, I often see someone eating in there on a weekend night -- again, I mention this because seeing actual patrons in Roli's would have been a miracle. It's a great change for the neighborhood.

  2. I agree with Elizabeth. This is my favorite Mexican place in the area. Since it changed from Roli's there are new staff, but they are very nice and accommodating. Also, they will make fish tacos for you if you ask even though they are not on the menu. The only downside, they did raise some of their prices a little.
