YouSwoop has an Uptown deal today at Seafood Garden, on Argyle between Kenmore and Sheridan. It's good through May 2012, and as of this writing, there are 94 left and 36 hours to buy. "Located in the heart of Little Saigon, Seafood Garden has been satisfying seafood cravings for more than a decade, first as a Vietnamese restaurant and now as a recently renovated Chinese restaurant. True to their name, Seafood Garden offers plenty of Chinese-inspired seafood fare on their extensive menu, from shrimp lo mein ($8.95) and deep-fried fresh oysters ($13.95) to the popular crab rangoon ($4.65). But if your cravings lean more toward chicken than chicken of the sea, order up some sweet and sour ($8.45) or the classic General Tso’s ($8.95). Beef short ribs with honey sauce ($8.95) or a pork chop with Peking sauce ($8.75) can round out your protein-packed meal. And don’t forget to take Seafood Garden up on their BYOB policy: Pick up a cold brew or a bottle of vino to pair with your entrée before heading over."

This is a deal with a personal aspect for some members of Team UU. Part of last week's Uptown United gala event was dinner at an Argyle area restaurant, and a couple of us chose Seafood Garden. The restaurant is large and clean, and the food portions were HUGE. Service was a little iffy, but we'd be very willing to return. We recommend!
