Hey, Public Pooper, We Can See You

Here's a little note to people, like the gentleman in the photos above:  If you do your private business in public, don't be surprised to see your picture posted in public.  The people who had to clean up their garage door because of you send their regards.

  1. Not sure about anyone else, but as someone who has had to clean up his driveway and back walk because of a similar situation before my wife and kids got home, I am standing up clapping.

  2. I doubt this stealth bomber would be terribly difficult to locate ... what's that hanging about his neck?

I'm sure there are more than a few loyal readers who might be able to squeeze out some helpful info.

    Seriously ... that's just f***in' disgusting.

  3. Is this a prank of sorts, or is this really routine procedure for this kind of disgusting person? Where were they raised? And where is the toilet paper??!

  4. OMG! LOL! This should go viral.

  5. I've seen the guy around the neighborhood quite a bit. Last seen hanging on a bench at the clarendon tennis courts on Sunday late afternoon. I don't think he's playing with a full-deck of cards though...which may explain the neck accessory.

On a side note another guy was busted by officers while peeing in broad daylight on the montrose/broadway/Sheridan triangle this weekend.

  6. Reminds of the good old days of broken heart of rogers park.

He tooks pics of public urination frequently.

  7. @ Yo

Yours is the pun of the day...

I am not squeezing out anything publicly here today...its a pretty recognizable local face though. He seems very nonchalant about it...uuuuuugly!

  8. This reminds me of when I got off the El on a Sunday afternoon after being out of town for the weekend perhaps a year or two ago and seeing a similar looking guy peeing on the big front window of (then-open) Popeye's, screaming to the manager, "Yeah, now go call the cops on me! I dare you!" while the usual audience in front of the Wilson Mall laughed and cheered.

  9. Unfortunately, the alley adjacent to The Spot, on Broadway, is also a haven for public poopers. I saw a guy taking a leisurely poop there in broad daylight.

  10. Do you think he is an Uptown Update reader?

  11. Who knows? But a whole lotta people now know what he looks like and what he does in public. Bet at least one of them will let him know.

  12. I walk right by there everyday, if I see this guy I am gonna call him out. Totally gross...

  13. Interesting logo, Monarch, considering that Cubs fans are often accused of this sort of thing.

  14. Wow, way to try to start an internet fight, been a Cubs fan (can't tell you why lately) for 25+ years and some seasons have actually gone to 30+ games. Used to live on both sides of the stadium (within 4 blocks at each location). NEVER have I seen a Cubs fan go #2 in public.

But way too try to lump us altogether and stereotype the fans. I know that some fans tinkle in yards of neighbors of the stadium, not that I condone that, there are not a lot of options within Chicago for relieving ones self in public. If a business wishes to make their facilities private that is their right, unless they serve food and can seat over 25. The CTA offers no facilities. The city offers no facilities. And I have no sympathy for the folks who complain about that, no one made them move on top of the stadium, nor do I see a movement too help alleviate the situation from the residents around Wrigley or the owners of the Cubs or businesses around Wrigley. I have as much sympathy for the people who move outside of an airport then complain about the airplane noise.

Also. If it were that big of an issue, something would be done, right? How hard would it be too add a few port-a-potties to the neighborhood during the regular season? I am sure that would cost nothing compared to the money that the Cubs bring to the Northside.

Again, I am not condoning this type of behavior. Just tired of hearing people complain without offering any type of solution and casting dispersions on this site.

  15. Could have at least went and found some alley bushes or somewhere that is not in front of a garage doorway.Dogs have more sense than that.

  16. Molbop - maybe the DOGS have "more sense than that," but plenty of DOG-WALKERS sure don't!

Why oh why do two-legged animals allow their four-legged "companions" to use the public way instead of the alley?

  17. I walked past this man on Broadway btwn Buena and Montrose today. He is definitely retarded or mentally ill: he was chattering to himself in a thin voice and turning the Red Eye all ways trying to decide what way was up. And he was not pretending.

  18. I ran into this guy in front of the Jewel tonight at about 10:30pm tonight and recognized him. Then promptly called him out and showed him his picture on the interwebs via my cell.

  19. I saw him on Sept. 17 too. He was sitting by the propane tanks cage, idling his time away. I alerted the security guy at Jewel, who did not quite get my message. He was too caught up in his own world.

The pooper is definitely not in his rocker. As I drove out to Montrose and took a good look at him, he waved at me like a little kid would at a camera. He is definitely not playing with a full deck and may therefore not be liable for the crime he committed in our ward.
