BPN Litter Patrol Out In Force On Saturday

Buena Park Neighbors Litter Patrol
Saturday, August 13, 10am
The Parking lot of KFC (Buena and Broadway)

Come join your neighbors as we pick up litter this Saturday. We will meet at the KFC parking lot and then spread out throughout the neighborhood to pick up litter. We have broken Buena Park into four quadrants, and we will be sending teams out to each one to pick up litter. This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded neighbors and help the community. We expect to be finished by noon and then, for those who wish, go to lunch together.  Gloves and garbage bags will be supplied.

  1. What a great way to create some positive loitering! BPN does a lot of organizing this type of stuff and it makes Benua Park a better place for everyone.

  2. Nothing wrong in cleaning up the neighboorhood of litter to keep the area clean. I also think it is a real shame that the residents have to keep cleaning up after the slobs that make the litter in the first place. If I see these slobs throwing litter on the ground in my area I would be yelling at them and let them know litter throwing is not appreciated around here.

  3. I have been doing this with my friend across the street the past two months. Second Saturday of the month. Takes an hour and is a great way to put in your effort. We do one street, both sides, and sadly get a HUGE bag full of crap. I'd love to see more and more people show up.
