Readers report lots of activity around the Wilson L station lately. We've seen workers going in and out of the abandoned storefronts and these gentlemen on the roof today, one of whom was snapping pics of the facade.
Like everyone else, I hope all the major Wilson stop news we've been hearing about isn't more hot air. A full scale major renovation of the station and retail spaces is probably the most crucial step in revitalizing Uptown. Here's hoping there is something to this.

ReplyDeleteOver on Bryn Mawr they have nicely painted the cement facade on the L tracks...it must have cost 500 dollars for labor and paint.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't they do that around here?
Is the Argyle stop in the 46th? Because that one could be beautiful but instead is an embarrassment..
ReplyDeleteWeren't we supposed to hear some big Wilson L news in June? I am now recalling there was never a year assigned to that annoucement.
