"On June 18, two of Uptown’s brightest youth-serving organizations -- Alternatives, Inc. and CircEsteem -- will celebrate their 10 years of partnership and creative work with Chicago’s young people and their families. From 1 to 4 p.m., Alternatives’ Uptown Youth Center at 4730 N. Sheridan will be transformed into an Anniversary Extravaganza open to the public and offering a range of free activities to give guests a sampling of the many activities offered every day.
The Anniversary Extravaganza will offer activities throughout the afternoon including opening of the Connect Force Uptown-focused photography exhibit, painting tiles for inclusion in a future Bricolage project, professional family therapist “advice booth,” circus arts exhibitions, and more."
You can read more about this on Alternatives' website. Sounds like fun.
