Support The Trevor Project At The "Do Over Prom"

While this event takes place outside of Uptown, we received it from Anthony Fleming, Co-Chair of the Chicago Ambassadors of The Trevor Project, who's an Uptown resident. And we strongly support The Trevor Project, the leading national organization focused on crisis intervention and suicide prevention efforts among LGBTQ youth. Every day, The Trevor Project saves young lives through its free and confidential lifeline, in-school workshops, educational materials, online resources and advocacy.

"Didn't get to go to prom with the person you wanted to take? Didn't have fun at your prom? Didn't go to your prom? Well then, here's your chance to make things right with our Do-Over Prom!

Join hostess Kelly Lauren along with Moosebox and DJ VoxBox as we give you a chance to do it all over again...the right way! Hear your favorite hits from the 80s and 90s. Dress to impress in your favorite 80s attire and you may go home with cash and other fabulous prizes. Remember the moments with a prom photo!

Enjoy a premium open bar with appetizers from 9 to Midnight for only $30 in advance or $35 at the door. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Trevor Project. You can purchase tickets online and don't forget to RSVP on Facebook. See you there!"

  1. OMG my prom experience was...worth a do-over. Too bad I no longer have my turquoise lame dress, complete with puffy sleeves and matching Dyeables shoes.
