Aren't we all looking forward to a warm, breezy summer day when we'll be more concerned with grilling ribs than grilling aldermanic candidates?Well, good news - Business Partners, The Chamber for Uptown announced today that the Windy City Ribfest will be returning to Uptown this summer! Mark your calendars - July 15th - 17th! From the e-mail blast from Business Partners:
"Professional BBQ chef's will compete while lucky fest goers get to eat! The event will also include live local and national music, arts/craft and other vendors, and an expanded kid's corner and more!
This year, Saturday's headliner is Rusted Root!"
I was a bit of a nay-sayer on this last year. I don't eat ribs and the theme wasn't authentically "Uptown" enough for me.

ReplyDeleteWoo! I can make it this year! Stupid down state triathlon I was already signed up for last year. Sister Hazel is one of my favorite bands too! (They played last year)
