"An Evening Of Jazz" Fundraiser At The Green Mill

Enjoy an outstanding jazz band and a Special Performance.  The Robert R. McCormick Boys and Girls Club will host its annual “Evening of Jazz” Wednesday, April 6th at the legendary Green Mill Jazz Club, 4802 N. Broadway, Chicago, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tickets are available now by calling the McCormick Club at (773) 271-8400 x4308 or at the Green Mill on the night of the event. Tickets are $60 and include hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer, and free parking. One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit the Robert R. McCormick Boys and Girls Club of Chicago’s 10-week summer day camp program.

The McCormick Club’s outstanding summer program provides children with a sense of belonging, a sense of usefulness, a sense of influence and a sense of competence. It includes cultural experiences such as outings to a theatrical play, a safe, fun water park, the zoo and museums. The children engage in art and nature projects. This program allows children to simply be children, learning and playing without violence.
