"Bottles And Brushes" At Strictly Locals This Friday

It's not an art class...It's an ART PARTY.  "Bottles and Brushes" takes over Strictly Locals (4866 N Clark) on Friday, January 21st, 6-9pm, bringing their signature paint supplies, including acrylic paint, brushes, aprons, and 16x20 canvases, as well as the ARTIST. You'll paint with the assistance of the artist and each take home your masterpieces! Appetizers begin at 6:00pm. Painting is from 6:30-9pm. This event is also BYOB!

COST: $40. Includes complimentary appetizers, step-by-step instruction from a local artist to recreate original art work by Peter Thaddeus (http://www.thaddeusart.com/), all painting supplies, and a 16x20 for you to take home.

More info can be found at www.strictlylocals.com/calendar.html#bandb and www.bottles-brushes.com/calendar.php.  You've seen our artwork, now create your own!

  3. Too bad this interesting event is taking place on one of the coldest nights of the year!

I do hope that Strictly Locals will stay solvent enough through the winter so as to become a popular asset to the community as the weather warms up and more "locals" will be willing to check out the place on weekend evenings.

The young people who are behind this venture are a creative, enthusiastic bunch. They deserve our support!

  4. I agree with everyone else's comments. If they succeed it will likely attract more arts related business...and the arts are "good buzz".

And the custom made waterfall is pretty damn cool I gotta say. It's a piece of work!
