ReplyDeleteAwesome..the pancake house made the cut to chick-flick stardom.. Besides the Green Mill of course I see the church down in Noble Sqaure at 1:51, don't recall the name...it's the one Rostenkowski had his funeral at, close enough.

Its bad to review from a trailer I know, but I rate this movie 1 star for......Booooooooooorrrring!
By the bank I assume you noticed that the diner that they are in is Pancake House next to the Riviera.

ReplyDeleteI think its awesome that they made another movie in our hometown Uptown! The funny thing is (and not to spoil the magic) but I remember watching all the extras walking from makeup trailers to the Green Mill all decked out in going out wear at like 7:30 in the morning when I was on my way to work. It was what the ultimate walk of shame would look like...if everyone were good looking!
ReplyDeleteAs an aside, it is kind of sad that you can see the vandalism on the windows of Pancake House in the trailer, but alas...
I wish people would have a little more pride and stop destroying things around here, but, in fairness this is not a problem that is unique to our community. I do believe that cleaning it up does discourage it, but that process does stick and can get very costly.
