A reader sends in the following link and info:"This was introduced to City Council yesterday by the Mayor. It's about an amendment to the Wilson Yard housing financing. I can barely understand all the legalese but I think it means the City is refinancing some or all of the loans taken out for the project. I'd assume if it is a refi, that this will save the TIF some interest money but have no idea if I'm right, or how much interest will be saved."
I'm sure any money saved will go straight into the Daley/Emmanuel slush fund. No additional cops. No additional books for student. Everything goes back the kitty protected by the secret budget that Daley sleeps with underneath his matress. The real budget.
