Smash The Glass: Not Just For Uptown Anymore

According to this photo (posted on UU's Facebook page by Thefortysixth Ward) and a post on Chicago News Report, Taco del Mar at 3955 N Broadway has joined way too many of its fellow small businesses in being burglarized, with entry coming via a smashed front door glass.

A UU commenter recently mentioned that the fellow who was doing this last summer was caught and found guilty, and was recently released from prison.  Let's hope the perp is apprehended soon and gets to go away for a long, long time.

    is anyone else pissed that they said this place is located in Uptown in the article - it's clearly Lakeview. We have our own issues here in Uptown to also take the burden of Lakeviews issues too. Just a thought...
