Chicago's free plant giveaway will focus on perennials this year with the "Great Perennial Divide." This is a great opportunity for block clubs or community groups in Uptown to revitalize their gardens, like the Winthrop Family Historical Garden in the 4600 block of Winthrop.You must register by September 10 to be eligible. Once registered, the northside pickup location for the plants will be at 5801 N. Pulaski.
