If you've got a kidlet or two, head on over to Chase Park Playground Tuesday morning at 9:30am for the ribbon cutting ceremony. There'll be light refreshments and fun stuff for the tots, like face painting and arts & crafts. The playlot is located at Leland & Ashland.
Update: CenterSquareJournal was there and reports on the Mayor and other bigwigs who were there for the dedication.
I see Da' Mayor showed up for the festivities and channel 5 NBC is covering it.
ReplyDeleteWOW! I used to jog around that park in the late 90's. And until you posted this article, I had forgotten all about Chase Park. The new play area looks great!
