A reader sends in the following photo and info:
"I noticed a lot of construction work being done on Wilson today that is reminiscent of the streetscaping work being done on Broadway. I know the rumor was going around that Wilson would be getting the same treatment and it looks like it is now underway. I would imagine they are just replacing the lighting and not doing a complete streetscape. Shockingly enough, no info on the Wilson or Broadway through Leland streetscape can be found on Ald. Shiller's website."
I hope so. But can something be done about the 20 - 30 people who gather under the L track on Wilson and drink all day. Really, do we want people to use the Wilson stop and go to the Target? It looks like a 3rd world country.

ReplyDeleteMost of the third world countries I've visited don't have drunken loiterers hanging around a major train station. The local government and police don't usually allow such a thing.
