Alderman Schulter is please to announce that both the Clark Street Streetscape and the Irving Park Streetscape are moving forward. Beginning on Monday, July 26th, work will resume on Clark Street. The Department of Transportation hopes to complete work surrounding Lawrence and Leland by early August. Please be aware that No Parking will be in effect in the construction zones between 6:30 am and 3:30 pm. Parking will be open after 3:30 pm and during the weekend.
Please remember the local businesses on Irving Park and Clark. While these improvements will have a positive effect on the neighborhoods once completed, the construction period is a hard time for many of these businesses. Your support of our businesses helps ensure their vitality.
